The Children’s Learning Center is a special education preschool program. We service children who are visually impaired and children also on a spectrum.
In our early intervention, students who have low vision or low vision with additional disabilities receive therapeutic services within their homes.
Located in Downtown Brooklyn, Helen Keller Services for the Blind’s Children’s Learning Center offers a full range of programs and services for preschool children with low vision, multiple disabilities, autism or pervasive developmental delays.
Staffed by rehabilitation and education professionals, Camp Helen Keller is uniquely equipped to create a fun, safe and enriching environment for low vision campers ages 4-15.
Evaluations are provided by low vision specialists who have extensive experience working with children.
Campers enjoy a positive experience free of cost.
We host more than 50 children with low vision at camp every year.
Staff in our Children’s Learning Center speak over 8 languages.
